On June 16th, I had the pleasure of cohosting a Community Appreciation Picnic with Garitt Irey at Douglas Weaver Park across from our offices in Edgeley. We were blessed with a gorgeous day (despite the wind) and a spectacular turnout of just under 200 members of the community. It was an honor to be able to serve and interact with so many wonderful people that day.
To those who attended, we hope you enjoyed the meal and want to thank you for joining us! We also want to thank Miller’s Fresh Foods for providing us with homemade buns and cookies to go along with our meal of smoked brisket and pulled pork, coleslaw, beans, and chips. Besides a few hotdogs and plates taken by the wind, the day went off without a hitch and we hope to host another community picnic sometime in the future!
